Chrome looks better IMO. Black wheels don't really do it for me on most cars.

I like the C6 wheels also but I can't get the left front to stop leaking air. I think I have a bad rim. Two different tires and rubber stem and sensor... still leaks. Plus I bout them for Craig's list and they were off a '99 Camaro and the offset is a little off. They stick out past the fender and is limiting front tire size.I Painted the stock wheels cuz I DID NOT like them silver. Thanks for all the positvie remarks.

I've repaired a few barrels and cracks on some of my old wheels and it's fairly easy.
Painted stockers just looks "cheap" it looks like you wanted new wheels and different look, but couldn't afford it. Fine for the winter or winter tires, but doesn't do the car justice.

Wow.... wasn't sure that was my car.... Had to take a second look. You are really good with you photoshop skills. Downfall is I can't lower the car with the C6 wheels. they stickout and would hit the fenders.

From that 3/4 profile pic you posted (second one) I can see your point the offset it fairly low. However looks like if you went 1" - 1.5" lower you would still be fine even without settling for a more narrow width tire. But function over form, just figured I'd show you what it could look like

I bought the wheels from a guy locally and he had them for a 99 Camaro. They are all 18's. One reason I went back to stock wheels. I was considering selling the wheels and had someone interested, but I can't afford to replace them and I do think they will go back on the car.
