Slp hood

Default Slp hood

I have an slp H.O hood for my trans am. I notice it does not have the rivets at the bottom like the original ws6 hood where you can remove those Lil plates and get more air flow thru the vents if anyone has done this mod your help would be much appreciated !!!!!!

I'm not sure what you meant by the detail comment. But for one if you are trying to get more air into the motor, taking those grills out doesn't really help. The "ram air" effect doesn't really take place there until well over 100mph. If you actually want to increase performance look into one of the actual ram air kits, such as the CHRIS1313, or even make your own.

You could take a dremal and cut the inside baffals out from of the scoop.

What jbridwelltransam is trying to say is that you should post some pictures of the area of the hood where these baffles, that you are looking to remove, are located. This way people can see what you're dealing with and be able to offer you advice on your specific application. Long story short, let us see what we're up against and we'll give it our best shot at solving your problem.

And just a bit of advice on using this forum. If you want people to help you with a solution to a problem, I would suggest you not antagonize them by being a smartass when they post a response in your thread. A little common courtesy will go a long way "bro".
