ls1 rebuild question

ls1 rebuild question i bought a camaro whit a rod knock for cheap. i have the choice of rebuilding it for maybe 1500. or i can just buy a 6.0 lq4 short block. and bolt up all accesories from ls1. is it realy this easy?
