Haters of Hugger Orange... Lately, i've been getting a lot of smart remarks about my Hugger Orange SS. About it looking like a pumpkin, etc. Seems a lot of people dont seem to like it. Maybe its because they might not be big into cars and not know the "classicness" of it from the 60's...or am I just one of the few people that actually like the color....

my dad's hugger orange 68 convert gets more attention than his iroc electric blue 69 and his pewter 70 c10...and unfortunately more attention then my black 98 ss... it's eye catching if done right. Do you DD yours, or is a weekend cruiser?

Hugger Orange is great, one of my favorite colors on an F-body.
The only way it would look like a pumpkin is with a tan interior. There were some C3 Corvettes that had the orange/tan combo.....they really do look like pumpkins that way, I have no idea why GM ever allowed that interior color on an orange car. But Hugger Orange with a black/dark gray/white interior looks great!

**** on them. Hugger orange is sexy as Hell. They are probably just jealous. I get people making fun of my mystic teal on my 98 but I don't care, its a color you don't see everyday and I love it. Besides, when they start their **** I leave them sitting in the dust only to see the black berger panel. Lol

I wish my pewter car was Mystic Teal, or Bright Green Metallic.

I guess it gets made fun of because it looks like a color that should be on a cavalier. Then when gm started painting grand prix's and tahoes that color it just got worse.
I don't care tho, I don't argue or get mad, I just let the tires and engine shut them up.
1 of 474 mystic teal z28's made in 98 as opposed to the thousands of red, black white...etc made...I'm happy its not the same color as every other camaro on the road.
