I have a 99 ws.6 thinking about running the 2.5.5.3 heads with the 228r cam..the car had the ls6 intake and 3.73 gears and its a m6....anyone else have similiar set up...that can tell me around what kind of power i will make as well as any track times ppl have with similiar set up.....also im open for recommendations?

I had 5.3 Patriot heads, crane 228/588 (don't remember the exact specs) 3:42 gears, LS6 intake in an auto 97 vette and ran 11.80's. We're about the same elevation and my name is Matt. You can't go wrong...

I have the 228R cam and absolutely love it, and will be going with those same heads here in a month or too! From what i've been told and with similar set-ups we should put down around 430RWHP

That number is quite common with that setup, but keep in mind that it could vary plus or minus some depending on the tune, what dyno its on, what supporting mods, and etc... Its a very successful combo, which makes it very popular!
