I took a couple vids off you tube w/ the same exhaust as me. Will a cam open up this exhaust that much? I want to keep the same tone but I want it alittle louder.

with the cats that is helping alot, but once you put a cam in there i dont think cats will matter, i have neve had cats on any of my cars so i couldnt tell you, i just know after the cam it was a raspy *** exhaust note, with duals its freaking perfect, you go duals you will never go back to a crap sounding y pipe again

Putting a more aggressive cam in the car should definitely make it noticeably louder. Maybe not so much in the higher RPM's, but just cruising around town, yes.

Man, with the Torquer, the addition of an O/R Y will just make your car ungodly loud, going to be crazy with the LM1 I would keep the catted Y on there. Might pick up a few rwhp if you were to switch, but really nothing major. I don't think it would be worth all the extra noise.

Bob99SS has it perfect. If you put a cam in there just go ahead and go tru-duals run them all the way to the rear bumper and put some bullet style mufflers in. I recommend magnaflow but sweet thunders sound great also and I 100% guarantee that you will be more than happy. You will be kicking yourself for not doing it sooner.

Here is a drive by off my car as it currently sits minus the cam though.
