Default Might get a 1998 z/28 please help!!

My friends grandpa has a 1998 camaro z/28 6 speed with under 150k miles. Problem is he couldn't sell it so he parked it in his backyard 2 years ago. Since then some rats have eaten the engine's wiring harness and it doesn't start. I could probably buy it from him for $500. What do you guys think about it?

You could easily part it out & make money for $500.
I would say jump on it.

thats a steal of a deal. Just the parts alone out of the car could net you a few grand as long as they are in good shape if you decided to part it out. The t56 trannys in good working order sell for about 1200. I would buy the car and see about either fixing the wiring or just getting a used harness for around 200 bucks and see what happens if it runs then I would drive the **** out of her lol. 150K is a bit of mileage but ls1's do go a long tie after that

Yeah I'm thinking about getting it because I just blew my head gasket on my Toyota and I need a new car.

Upgrade from a Toyota to a Z/28 for $500? Sounds like a good move.

Wait....are we being punked? Wheres Ashton?
Dude even if you knew nothing about cars it would be worth $500 to buy and screw around with unless the engine is knocking, trans is grinding and the rear end is blown up along with severe rust issues lol.

How about you buy it for $500 and I'll give you $1000 for it?
