Default sluggish launch

It's a M6, so this is kind of weird. i don't know if i'm letting off of the clutch at the wrong time or what. even though my rpms are climbing, it doesn't seem to have it's normal zip. spark plugs need to be changed though, and the cats are bad. but the plugs are getting changed and the cats are coming off when i put on my LT's. and a friend of mine said from the way my exhaust sounded that it sounded like an old man breathing hard. What do you guys think?

It could be clogged cats. My friend had something similar on his 2002 Malibu. He described the same slugging acceleration with climbing RPMs as you do. Shop diagnosed it as clogged cats, changed them, and now it runs good again.

But also it could be ur clutch is slipping as well. If thats the original clutch thats is a lot of mles.
