Oil change?

Default Oil change?

Oil pan is leaking so I'm going to replace it with a new one and change the oil and oil filter is royal purple really good and recommended or should i do a different brand of oil? Just curious cause i want to know whats the best for the ls1?

There is no best oil, just use synthetic oil. I use mobil 1 10w-30 oil and oil filter. There are a ton of threads on this topic. The search bar shall set you free

Castol and pennzoil are the only two I know of with independant labs that make there own **** in house.....
All other companys like mobil1, royal, quaker, have there **** made by other folks. Im a huge castol titain. fan.

I'm just wondering cause they make it seem like royal purple is the king of oils lol but I'm probably going with either mobile 1 or royal purple?

If you search this topic youll find lots of people including myself run pennzoil ultra based on used oil analasys results stuff is fairly inexpensive as synthetics go hth

just get a good synthetic i think royal purple is a waste of money personally

whatever synthetic is on sale would be fine. i use castrol or Mobil

Stay away from Royal Purple. Way to many bad reports on that stuff out there. Pull up a search on google.. "royal purple problems"
