Default Super 44's Vs super 40's

I cannot decide which muffler to go with, I have listened to many videos but they all sound different because of cameras and what not. So I was wondering if any one has any opinion from personal experience. I am leaning to the 44's because I have heard they are deeper. I want the loudest deepest I can find. I am set on Flowmaster so don't bother with other recommendations. Thanks, its just for a cat back by the way with dual mufflers.

Out of those two Chokemasters I like the 44s. But flowmasters suck.

Nothing wrong with single in/single out Flowmasters. Their crossflow design (single in/dual out, as would be stock for a 3rd or 4th gen F-body) are not exactly great though.

Super 44 will be deeper and louder than Super 40. Actually, even original 40 series will be deeper and louder than Super 40.

I had a FM Super44 years ago, it's a really good sounding muffler!

Here's a good comparison between the two:

I've got super 3" super 40s on my 'Cuda and everybody that hears it thinks it has a big block in it. Its just got a nasty little 340. If I had a video of it I would post it.

I agree, I have had both. I have a single super 44 on my Z now and it is obnoxious!
