Default Loss of power around 5k WOT...

Hey fellas gotta ?? for ya,I gotta 2000 camaro ls1,I've had no driveability issue's whatso ever the car has 132k on it,today I jumped on it hard 1st/2nd and into 3rd but around 4500/5k it fell on its face,I then got on the freeway,2nd gear 50ish roll an jumped on it an again it fell flat around 5k...car idles fine,drives even better but top end is slugish,also ona free-rev in neutral it barely makes it to 6k an has a very slow rev-limiter,yes I beat on my cars lol...any input much appriciated thanks fellas!

Car just has a lid on it,I was thinking cats/plugs but wanted to check if anyone else had these issues...

I'd have to agree with dreww, with the fuel filter, and hows the gas mileage been ?

Agree about changing the fuel filter and if that doesn't work, get a fuel pressure gauge, hook it up to the Schrader valve and check pressure. Should be a good steady 58-60psi at idle and stay close to that even at WOT or when revving.

A bent pushrods will also cause it to fall flat on its' face...ask me how I know.
