Default Royal Purple oil change

On sale at advance auto parts for 46 bucks, with a filter. I thought it was a good deal. Thought I'd pass it on

I did just notice that my oil pressure is about 10 lbs higher than before the oil change. Could be the oil, could also be a blockage =-). Im going with the oil

RP's additive package blows ***. I steer clear of the American Castrol, as well. It's just hydrocracked. The GERMAN stuff, however, is an esther-based synthetic, and is some good ****.

One oil I never tried. Heard a lot of mixed reviews on it.

I like Pennzoil Platinum myself, it is the only oil I have used the actually makes it run quieter. I will never use RP again. Tried it once and I hated it.
