Default i would like some feed back on my set up please

Hello yall, I have a 2001 Chevy ext. Cab with a ls2 swap, comp cam(231/247 614/617), 42# injectors, it has 317 heads not sure if they are ported or anything( I just bought the truck) not sure if the internals are stock or not either, I had the trans rebuilt to a stage 3 and a circle d 3200 stall, pace setter long tubes, no cats, 3in all the way back to borla, the guy screwed me and put the oem intake manifold but I am buying the 102mm fast intake with throttle bodie, also msd plug wires lol thank you for any feed back

317 heads were found on LQ4/LQ9 iron block 6.0s which had either 9.5 or
10 to one compression. The LS2 has 243 casting heads and 10.9 comp in an
aluminum block application. That is still a bit larger cam than I'd like to see
for a 5000lb truck....perhaps a 222/226 range...however the stall converter
does help ya a bunch. The truck intake is probably the best for average
power through the band where as the FAST intake makes its 15-20 extra HP
between 5500-7000....very seldom do you use that range....$1000 ???????

It is the lq4, would a edle Brock suffice, I was thinking it might be a bit over cammed, but I'm thinking of leaving it because I want to put a whipple later on.
