Need to make car quieter
I installed tsp 7/8 headers, bigger cam, onto my 02 trans am, i already have the borla cat back on the car, but now my car is gonna be pushing the limits to be getting me tickets because its a little louder then cops will probably like in arizona. Ive been trying to look up how to make it quieter, but i know almost nothing when it comes to exhaust sounds. What should i be looking for just to tone down the loudness of my car.

I had a borla catback . After I got my motor mods the car was way too loud. I attracted too much attention. I ended up getting a Magnaflow cat back system. That setup is pretty quiet unless I stomp on it.
My buddie has the same t/a and he has a Corsa catback system. It's a little louder than my setup but sounds really cool.

Unless you need cats to pass an emissions test, IMO the better option would be bullet mufflers in the Y-pipe (where the cats would normally go), and/or a long bullet muffler in the I-pipe.
You could also consider a quieter catback.

Depending on the sort of inspections that your state does, you may or may not need cats to pass emissions. If it's OBD scan only, no sniff and no visual, then you won't need them to pass (but you would need custom tuning or O2 sims).

i just recently moved back to arizona, so i don't know how the emissions are running here now. havn't taken a car through for 6 years. and my car is stock height, the only concern i have with height is just speed bumps. i have a tuner and have had my car tuned before.
