Default corsa help!!!

So I got my 99 z28 during the summer and when we bought it the exhaust wasn't on it so we drove it home with just a y pipe, well after we installed the whole corsa system we found that the muffler has lost a baffle. So know I'm trying to decide what we should do for exhaust now. Keep in mind it has longtubes and no cats and a 3" y pipe. Should i find a muffler to replace it? Or should get a bullet/muffler for the slp lm2 system I have in the garage?

i need a 3" in and 3" out muffler like the one from the corsa exhaust, or something that would bolt right in to the lm2

Little confused, did you buy the car w/ the Corsa included but not installed? Or did you buy the Corsa after you bought the car?

Corsa has a lifetime warranty when you are the original purchaser, but even if youre not it might be worth a call.

bought the car with the corsa, just not installed. I thought about just using the 3 inch tubing and throw a single 3" in and single 3" out muffler there. I just think that a bullet would be to loud especically with the longtubes, and 3 inch y pipe with no cats.

So I ended up throwing on a magnaflow 3 in/out muffler and running one tail pipe, but so far, it is a lot quieter than the corsa muffler. I figured a smaller straight through muffler would make I slightly louder?? Am I missing something here or was my corsa muffler just that screwed up!?!

corsa's are loud because they are straight through with no packing. They will be one of the loudest outside without being loud inside.

If i were you I'd contact the person you bought the car from to see if they bought the corsa new. If they did ask them to get a new muffler for you and throw them $40 or something. That being said, I absolutely love my corsa and wouldn't want to replace it with anything

the people we got it from had got the corsa from another guy on craigslist so there iss no way im getting a new muffler, nor would i want one after seeing all the same issues people have had with them. We cut the muffler open to see what the issue was and it was due to some very bad welding on corsa's part.
