First ZR1 in the 8's
Proud of my buddy Eric for getting his ZR1 in the 8's this past weekend. The car still has stock suspension with a synchronized RPM 6060 manual transmission. So everyone knows how hard it is to get a manual shifted car to these ET's especially in a non-drag friendly ZR1.
Here is a quick list of the main mods:
Stock Shortblock
BTR Blower Cam and Valvetrain
BTR Ported Heads and Blower
LPE Snout
TPIS 102mm TB
2.6" Blower Pulley + Overdrive Crank Pulley (16psi)
ARH 2" Headers, Xpipe
Nitrous Outlet Nitrous Kit on 150 shot
NOS Launcher Controller
Pump E85
ID850 Injectors
ECS St1 Fuel System Upgrade
Tuned with HPTuners by us
Currently the car has made 654rwhp on blower only on our Dyno Dynamics and 813rwhp on a DynoJet 224X. He has ran 9.30@151 at this power level blower only.
On nitrous we do not have any HP numbers on the 150 shot however he has been 8.92 @ 156 (trapped as high as 159) so far with the car. He cannot shift as aggressive on the jug due to some fuel puddling issues we are working out so 8.90's granny shifting. Stay tuned for some faster times to come.
Wanted to mension thanks to Tabitha Sizemore for the wheels up shot! And my wife for the blazing shot & fall shot.

Saw this a few days back. SICK car and bad *** time for sure. Not very often you see a ZR1 pulling the front wheels! He was shifting the car damn good too, even despite the setbacks you mentioned. Congrats to him.
