Sounds to me like you're just not happy with the car you settled on.....if you wanted Pewter instead of Silver, you should have just held out for one.

Your car's build said it was optioned with 16" wheels, those would be standard Wheels, WS6 got the 17's. Though it was a "Trans Am" which meant you got the spoiler at least, just no hood....not sure what all non WS6's came with to be honest, Pontiac had way to many options unlike Camaro which was like Base, Z28, SS. LOL

Well WS6s came with 17s, the hood, the higher airbox, bilstein shocks and I think that is all.

Did you double check the alternate vin locations like everyone here has suggested you do?

Reading through this thread; how in the hell do you not find the secondary VINs in a two month time period?! They are easy enough to find if you google the locations. It would probably take all of an hour if you were going at a relaxed pace.

It's just really weird that you care enough to complain multiple times about being had by a shady guy, but don't care enough to even see if your car could be taken from you at any given moment by the police or care enough to see if you're driving around a backyard, unsafe, hacked up turd.

How would the guy know it wasn't an original motor. What didn't "line up"? Also when you fill out the title did he check the box saying it was the exact mileage?

I'd keep the car, sounds like a good deal regardless. A friend told me there are more 1969 Z28's in the South than were ever built in the country - which means lots and lots of people buy the old camaros and transform them. I can see it happens with 4th gens too. If I had a roller V6 Camaro, and I dropped a LS engine in it, I'd probably put Z badges or SS badges on it. But yea, have to be honest if you sell it. Enjoy the car, and you could sell it for what you paid for it

A $5k WS6 with 70k miles? That would raise flags for me right off the bat. Should be very easy to see its been repainted. Im sure you bought it because there were no other "WS6's" in that price range. They are very rarely under $10k.

I think you got exactly what you paid for as long as its not stolen. 120k miles, accident, repainted, etc.

Just amazing to me members here give honest sellers a hard time for asking a realistic price then purchase a car from scum bags like this selling their "WS6" for $5k. Versus spending a little more to get a real car from someone who will tell them the truth, crazy.

Wouldn't matter anyway.....as a private owner YOU MAY DO what ever you want to your car AND SELL IT...........................Now if you are dealer then you can't.
