new to the site..but not to ls motors
Hello..new to this site but have been lurking for a while. I have an opportunity to purchase an l92 6.2 motor tranny..basically everything out of a 2013 denali. I guess my question...is it worth pulling my ls1 and doing the swap or should I just keep my ls1??? The ls1 came out of an 01 Camaro, and is currently housed in a 77 vette. Thanks.

If the LS1 has heads and cam then NO the stock L92 would not be a better
option, however stock for stock, obviously the thirty extra cubes and the
rectangular intake ports make it a better engine. In fact quite a few 6.2 cam
only combos end up in the 450-480 rwhp whereas the LS1 would require a
decent CNC heads/cam combo to acheive those numbers.
