Default Will this cam work in my 6.0?

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/na...FUJo7AodAwgAFw

Will the stock pushrods, springs, timing gear, etc. work with this cam? The engine is a 99 or 2000 with iron heads. Swapping on Aluminum LS1 heads.

I just would like to know what I need so when I swap the heads & cam I can have everything ready.

Thanks.

what are your plans with the engine? what kind of vehicle is it going in etc. it says that is a stock ls9 cam, it was designed for boost and rectangle port heads, pretty sure no matter what cam you put in you have to change the springs.

It would be pushing it with your OEM components while not really providing that much oomph since it's designed for a bigger, supercharged and square ported setup...not for an N/A 6.0 with cathedral heads.

What size converter do you plan on using?

Maybe a slightly higher than stock converter, nothing radical. I like torque not 8,000 rpm HP

Somthing in the low-mid 220s should be ok. It all depends on the converter though. IMO you'd want something at least in the 3000 range. Also, I would change the springs, pushrods, timing chain, and oil pump while youre in there.
