Default 5.3 or 6.0?

I was looking into a 6.0, can get a shortblock for 600 shipped. I have the heads and i was going to gap the rings and build the top end. BUT there always has to be that other option youre unsure of. Power does not really matter to me, its more about my ET's. If i go with a 5.3 L33 ill run a s480 with race cover and billet wheel, and if 6.0 probably 88mm+. I have a 92 fox lx 3.73's, full spool, 33 spline axels, braced, C clips elims, lakewood struts, bbk upper control arms and lakewood lowers, going with team z ls kmember, coilovers, and flaming river manual rack. Has 10 point cage, completely gutted with one summit seat, lexan windows (except the hatch glass). Powerglide trans. Want to run 8's in 1/4 5's 1/8

From what i've gathered reading on this forum if you have the money go 6.0L and live happily ever after. If you are in a budget go 5.3L and you will safe some cash. A lot of the guys go 5.3 because they are very cheap and reliable. Me personally was going to buy a 6.0 and i have changed my mind.

I have a budget build 5.3 and it runs great, the only thing I worry about is the cylinder walls busting, its bored out to a 5.7
