Default 4.8 pistons with 806 heads in 5.3?

I'm trying to do a mild build on my 01 5.3l truck and wanted to know about this combination of 4.8 flat top pistons and 806 ls1 heads milled .25 with the lingenfelter z06 cam ,yellow valve springs, ls6 intake with throttle body and spacer, alum. Fuel rails and stall converter out of the trailblazer ss? Would this be a good combo and gain some horse's?

It'll gain some power but non ported LS1 806 heads don't flow a whole more than 5.3 heads, 243 LS6 heads would flow a lot better and give the same compression boost as the milled 806's, in my opinion the 806 wouldn't be worth the swap with gm putting 243 heads on so many newer 5.3's I'd look for those to make it worth it, if that's out of the budget, just mill your current 5.3 heads .25 and a real nice compression boost for the torque you'd want on a truck application
