Question Hose on the driver side, under hood, blowing a lot of air

There's this hose on the Driverside of the engine bay that is blowing out a lot of air. It will do it for a short time then stop, then start up again. I had my emissions stuff removed so this might be something left over from it. Does anyone have a clue?

that hose is from your air pump that is mounted on the frame rail. if you're getting air out of that hose than the pump is this there and working!

So it's just suppose to be dumping out air like that?! I would think it should be hooked up to something and not just blowing out air, like that.

No, it needs to be removed. If you have removed all your other emissions stuff, then it is just taking up space. Jack up the front, remove the plastic shield piece and yank the pump.

What's on the OTHER end of the pump? How is the pump being driven?

The pump TechCam97 mentioned is driving it. It's left over from your emissions stuff like you thought. There's also a fuse and a relay. Look for air pump on covers then yank them.

What is on the other end of the hose is the pump and it is being driven by electricity. Jack up the front end of your car and remove that plastic shield and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Yep, pull the pump and then pull the fuses and he'll be good to go.

Here's the entire AIR system that should be removed:
