Default HELP throttle body size!

What is the biggest size throttle body you can use on a Ls1 car intake
Its 75mm stock, has anyone bored out theirs and put a 85mm TB
Or can it accept a 85mm TB
Any response will be appreciated

Think they make 102 mm 4 bolt design but depending on mods more then likely you wont
need anymore then a 80/85 mm.

I had an 85mm throttle body with an adapter to neck it down to the stock LS1 manifold size.

i am having the same issue the ls1 intake has a 3 bolt pattern and the ls2 has the 4 bolt. i bought the fast 102 so i now have the 4 bolt pattern, problem solved right - wrong! now i am looking for a T/B that will connect (elecrtically) to my harness. GM changed alot of elect. on the ls2's and i have a LQ4 or "LS1 cousin" so the Nick Williams 102 T/B and the 90mm LS2 T/B are outfitted with different connectors. i am really considering getting rid of the FAST 102. i just dont want to mess with it anymore! i have heard that like the 1st replier said: you just dont need that much anyway! PS. my T/B is drive by wire, and id like to keep it that way THATs the main problem.

OP, just have your stock TB ported.
lucasmccane, this should solve you problem.

It took me at least 38 seconds to find that with google, so I can see why you wouldn't want to mess with it any more.
