I'm building my front mount turbo kit for myself. I'm gonna be running a 72mm turbonetics water cooled turbo and a 75 wet shot. Been trying to figure out what cam to run. Everyone keeps telling me a zo6 cam and to use ls9 head gaskets. Was wondering if anybody had some advice on the build. Thanks

You can easily do better than the Z06 cam which is better suited for a SC with it's wide split; not Turbo. IMO, I'd go with a single pattern cam, but a reverse split with a small split like 2-4 degrees should also work good, an make sure the cam lobes are fairly mild, NOT aggressive. Furthermore if you want it to run fairly smooth go no larger than a 220(@.05") duration with a 114-115lsa.

FYI, the Speed Inc. cam has -12* Over Lap, Crane cam has -14* OL., and the Cam Motion cam has -10* OL..

Thanks for the advice. I'll look into that. Any other advice on this build? This is my first turbo build so I'm taking all the advice I can get. Lol
