I'd say my low mile extremely mint 02 WS6 is kind of rare, and getting more and more rare as the years pass.

'02 WS6s are actually more common than base '02 Trans Ams. Lots of these were built as compared to the whole of V8 F-bodies, and Pewter is pretty common among these cars as well. Something like a WS6 Formula would be rare. Or one of the obscure colors, such as Sport Gold Metallic, Bright Green Metallic, etc.

On the other hand, any sort of 4th gen F-body is pretty rare to see on the road these days, since they are all 13+ years old now and they weren't a high production platform to begin with. So while it's not really a "rare" F-body, it's certainly not a common site in traffic in general.

Yeah, I agree, but at the same time even if there are quite a few 02 WS6's out there, I'd say 80% or more are higher miles and 95% aren't in as good of shape. Anytime my family goes on a long trip, I always look for WS6's and rarely see more than 1 out there. Hell, from MO to Austin Texas and back, I saw none. Saw a **** ton of Mustangs and Camaros, but no WS6's.

Any version of a bright purple metallic Pontiac is on my list of cars to own some day. Or, when my car needs painted someday, I may just turn it into one.

I personally own one of the most common Trans Ams of all time. Black. Only thing that is a little less common is that it is a non- traction control car.

Gotta 02 m6 ss, 2nd owner!, bought it from an old man who bought it brand new in 02, black interior, black onyx paint , 35th anniversary, hurst, fully loaded! 70k miles on it! Don't know if it's rare but , the guy I bought it from said it's one of the last couple that they made! Don't know how to verify that tho?
I take care of it like it's the only one ever made tho! Lol!
