Most accurate would be a mechanical gauge since you're reading pressure directly off the block. You're not depending on an electrical sender to give a signal to the gauge. Easiest install is an electrical gauge since you're just dealing with some light gauge wiring and a small sending unit.

Thanks for the quick response, where does the mechanical gauge hook up to block?

I believe the stock one is above the bellhousing directly behind the intake manifold. Not sure if there is another port you can tap into??

you can tap in right above the oil filter as there's a cover you can take off. don't forget with a mechanical gauge you're running a line that will be under pressure into the interior of your car. if that line develops a hole or leaks you will be pumping oil into the inside of your car!

its a electrical gauge and that's the sender. it's easier to run just a line. don't you want to see your oil pressure when your driving? Autometer makes some very accurate electrical gauges!

yes, just tap the hole and install the fitting. be careful of where you run the line, like away from the exhaust, no kinks or tight bends or any chaffing. good luck.
