The pics I have up so far are probably the closest pics I have so far. What are you looking for?

Finally got insurance and plates on it and took it to the grocery store Real world problems lol

I was having an issue with a strange noise coming from the front right after cutting the springs and installing the new shocks. Turns out one of the shocks was junk.

I am glad its fixed now Put the new shock/strut (what ever the hell it is) back in. I'm getting pretty good at taking these in and out :lolsign: I'm just glad it wasn't the drivers side with that pesty bolt under the master cylinder.

It does scrape the air dam in the front a little. I have to get use to what entrances I can come in hot.

Really need to polish it out yet and still give her a really good cleaning. Its going in for an alignment tomorrow.

I cut the springs in the rear a bit more, it didn't change much. It didn't seem to change that much, although I didn't do a before and after measurement.

Tint will be this coming week

Thanks everyone! I finally put some fun miles on her today.

Took out my buddys full bolt on 99 Cobra Then he lost 2nd and 4th lol.

I did a quick wash under the hood today. It still needs a good amount of attention but not bad compared to what it was.

Sorry for the terrible pic

I also did the first mod today! I installed Nicks Lid. What do I do with the air hose? Can i plug it? I ended up pulling the fuse which threw the check engine light on. I know i can get it tuned out but I don't plan on spending money to tune little to no mods at this point. I know I can remove it as well but that will still throw the light. Any suggestions?

Also, I think I have a plan on how I want to start building this car. I'm going to do what David did (1999_blackz28). Get and install the heads, cam, springs, rockers, hardened pushrods, head studs etc and run it like that for awhile until I work out any bugs and am collecting turbo parts.

Next question, since I can't decide what turbo parts to buy, do I go with a stall and suspension or stall and gears? Or gears and suspension?

Is there a stall I can get now that will be usable for the turbo as well?

I have 2.73 gears currently Should I get some stock 3.42s or 3.73s? Will a 3.73 be too much for the turbo?

I got some small things done today. Finally go around to changing the oil since I don't know how long ago it was done (no sticker). I noticed a few things while I was under there. Someone left a 1/2" drive socket on the oil pan drain bolt :lolsign: They must have grabbed the wrong size, it was on there pretty good. Ill be needing a new bolt, i put it back on in the mean time.

My passenger side rear k member to a arm nut was only hanging on by a few threads. not sure why someone would have that out in the first place. Is that nut typically backed out for an alignment?

On the brightside the oil didn't look to bad.

When I got the car it had 2 brand new belts in the "trunk area". I pulled mine off, the serp belt wasn't in that bad of shape but the a/c had seen better days.

I took the lady friend out to dinner lastnight for some pulled pork at a local bbq place in Chelsea. Oh, the fiance came along as well.

I think ill be tinting my parking lights, rear bumper running lights as well as my tails and 3rd brake light. I thought about buying some ebay specials but i love the looks of my last 2 cars that I tinted.

I'm thinking of just picking up a set of used headers and an ory. Money saved imo. Has anyone used/heard a stock muffler on LTs and an ory?

Stall and suspension, gears will be complete waste with a decent stall and an even bigger waste with boost.

Upgrade the gears when the 10 bolt implodes and you upgrade the whole rearend.

I made some spray outs for the 2 variances of my paint. Ha.... this will be fun. In the shade neither match for crap. I'm gonna see if I can get lucky and mix both together and see what I come up with. One is standard (to red and dark) the other is yellower (which is to yellow and orange).

I got the spoiler scratches primed. I'll reprime the whole spoiler and block it before spraying. First I need to get this color down.

Great work! One thing I would change is the front springs.....the front end is a little too low.

I would keep the front end where it's at. If anything, the back might need to come down just a **** hair. Beautiful car, looks like I'll have to get some 10 spokes for my '97...

For daily driving, the front end is too low. Just imagine the damage to headers/oil pan/suspension parts etc. would be when going to fast in the wrong place. Been there, done that.....trust me.
Front up an inch and rear down 1/2" would be perfect.

Thanks for the compliments everyone

Polished her out lastnight.

Paid for the remaining part of my group buy on huron speeds v2 ac retaining turbo kit! Also bought a tubular turbo k.

Next on the list:
Huron speed ac lines
Oil lines
Derale fans
80lb injectors
Turbo
Fuel pump
Wastegate
Catch can

Still unsure if I want to run the exhaust out the bumper or not (although I'm a ways away from that).

I still wanted the rear a bit lower so I put in the intrax springs in the rear. It's sitting much better now.

Also, I don't think I ever posted any updated interior pics. These were taken about 2 weeks ago. Nothing has really changed just a good cleaning
