I have qn 09 LC9 5.3 with the oil consumption issue. AFM is turned off and there are no over aggressive lifters as far as I can tell. However there is oil in my intake manifold. I know there is a updated valve cover with a different style pcv baffle but I've come across a thread which talks about heads with the julian dates 8210-8309 saying that they should be replaced with no explanation as to why. Does anyone have any info on this? Any help would be appreciated.
