Default T56 making a thumping sound when clutching?

hey guys, new to the page (with my own profile anyway) but ive had a problem with my TA ever since ive owned it.. not even really sure its hurting anything but its aggrevating. if im in 1st or 2nd and over 2000 rpms with a little torque behind it and i throw my clutch to the floor the stop, it makes a thump usually 2 sometimes 3 times up underneath my console, almost sounds like its in the bell housing area. anyone experience this? thanks.

Have you looked at your cross member mount? I had a 94 z28 that had a TH700r4 and I use to tear that mount out all the time, had to get a poly, energy suspension it was like 40 bucks orileys and they had it in stock
