If I stroke my car what would it take to get 500rwhp? Heads, cam, intake?
And stroking a car seems a bit odd, please do so in a private garage or something as that may have some people calling the police for indecent exposure in public.

Stroking only produces more torque. The heads will dictate power and cam will dictate where it comes on and falls off.
That said, a motor with 4" bores can use L92/LS3 heads which flow like crazy off the shelf. The cathedral heads typically make a flatter power curve with lots of torque. The rectangular port heads typically make more power on the top end due to design and degree of the heads.
Why do you think you need 500whp?

My 383 is not rung completely out and I'm at 444/441through an a4. That's with ported stock heads and a tick cam that's not all out. So I think it's doable with HCI and. Especially if you're m6 and willing to crank the compression and go e85. Why 500 Na? I can't use all the power I have
