Default 1 thread 2 questions.

so i have a 418 ls3 in my fbody and today on the water temp it got to the next notch from 210. i put the heat on and it went back to 210. and went back up when ac on. is this hotter than usual? and also i pulled my oil fill cap off while the engine was running and very light vapor was coming out not puffing out just like verly lightly coming out only when i took the cap off. put it on and off a couple times and it started to not really have vapors come out, is any of this normal and if so what should i do?

Update: problem solved I had taken the air dam off when I changed the oil I took it off and it just hit me today that I forgot to put it back on. So I put it back on went for a drive and coolant temps were perfect.
