2000 SS 6 speed trans whining

2000 SS 6 speed trans whining So the other day I got on it and the trans popped out of 4th gear hard and now the trans makes a whining noise in 1st 2nd and 3rd gear all most sounds like a supercharger only when the clutch is engaged, gets louder the higher the rpms go. I just don't want it to fall apart while driving. Do I need to rebuild ? Somebody told me that I need to change the input shaft and cluster gear shop told me they could do it for 800.00. Is That what I need to do ? any help is appreciated

Yes N20zuki I have all ways had all the fluid changes done at the mileages they were supposed to be and I checked the fluid in the trans by removing the fill plug and trying to add , when I removed the fill plug trans fluid came out so I shot some extra in it and put the plug back in lol it looks like new trans fluid still in it to :/ the clutch has been replaced once to.
