Default Dumbest Thing Someone Has Said About Your Car

I was trying to see what the dumbest thing someone has said about your car.
I was at a gas station in my 98 Z28 had a trqr3 cam and a guy walked up to my door after i started the and said "buddy your car is misfiring real bad", then my 99 Z28 with 233/239 cam and had a guy come up to me after I shut the car off and say "I have a ls1 camaro too and we just finished putting big block heads on it, and made a ton of power you should do it too" I smiled said "Is that the year they put overhead cams in it" he replied back "yeah and they do great with NOS"

I've also had the 'new' comment over the years. Just so few around anymore in decent condition. It shows that the styling is not old looking.

me and buddy was in his 2000 ss and had two guys who just cruised up in a honda del sol, and ask what was done to the car. Buddy told them and they said
"we just intalled exhaust, intake, header and chip, we should run em, give you a good run and we'll let you take the hit". We.laughed and said CHALLENGE ACCEPTED.

Camaro: One female to another at a local car show - that's a nice white Mustang

Corvette: Countless people telling me that it's not a '63 - it doesn't have a split window. Oh thanks! I only own the car, guess I don't know what year of Corvette I have!

YES I KNOW. Even the guys at the auto parts store ask if it's got the 350. I used to say no it's a 346. Now I just say. It's the 5.7 liter

And the guy that asked me if it was 305 really didn't mean it in a mean way just probably the only engine number he knew

When I brought my '67 Camaro home on the trailer I had a guy stop and ask if I was going to fix it up. I replied "Nah, I'm hauling it to the crusher." I felt bad but the look on his face was priceless.

Back when I had that same cam an old guy came up to me after I turned it off and said, hey buddy, that thing really needs a tune up. I couldn't help but laugh at the guy and said yeah, a lot of people tell me that, but it just has a big cam in it that makes it sound that way lol.

Went into a parts store before to get a part and they asked what it was for, I said an 01 firebird, they looked at the screen for about 30 seconds and then said, who makes that? I just laughed and said Pontiac.

I get the "how do you like your Camaro" all the time though, I just say it's a ta and thank them.

Got told if I out flowmasters on my car that it would run a lot faster and probably pick up .3 tenths at the track. Guess my borla with no plate was pretty restrictive back then.

Had a guy tell me he picked up quite a bit when he put cams in his LS1, what cams did you put in yours? I said, just one. Then I just got in my car and left lol

500 years ago, people looking at my 1971 Duster (440, TransGo 727, 8-3/4") said "I had a Camaro just like that".

My car is loud and big cam and chop hard. Old timers ask all the time if or what size carb is on it.

People assuming my old automatic Z28 was slow. Yeah, it was faster than the 1998 Z28 six speed manual that I owned later.

With my current car(1992 Lexus SC300/5 speed, stock), all the import fan boys about cream their pants when they realize that I have a 2JZ(non-turbo) and a manual transmission under the hood. They think its like the fastest thing ever. Its reasonably brisk and torquey, but 225hp in 3400lb car, come on.
