LS2 cam sprocket with an LS1 Cam
Are LS2 and LS1 Cam sprockets interchangeable?
I'm rebuilding an ls1 and the parts store sent me the wrong sprocket set (cam sprocket, crank sprocket, chain). I plan on running everything how it was before, but I want to finish building this thing.

This is the 1x sprocket (C) that I am wanting to swap in place of the original one (D). I am still running the rear cam sensor and everything stock. I just don't want to wait for a new one to be sent out to me.

As long as the one you are using is for a three bolt setup you will be fine. Since you are referencing cam position from the back of the block with the LS1 it won't matter what reluctor is on the camshaft sprocket.
