Injector help

Default Injector help

Ok need help. I have a 5.3 had stock injectors I went to 46lbs injectors and car Dosent want to run. Runs when fuel pump is off but not when on. Do I have to tune computer for new injectors or is it something else any help would be nice. Thanks

Yes, you need to have the car tuned for those injectors. I wouldn't run it anymore until you get it tuned, you're dumping more fuel into it now.

You can send it to your tuner to either put a base tune on it so you can drive it to him to tune it for all of your other mods you've done. Or he can just tune it for those injectors if that's the only changes you've made and be good to go.

I sent mine off and had a base tune for my turbo build so I could drive the cars 4.5 hours to get it tuned. It was $150 but that was taken off of the street/dyno tune price once I brought the car to him.

Yup needs a tune, you're literally dumping twice the fuel in the motor with those injectors and stock fuel tables.

Thanks guys. I'm from up state ny there is a tuner around here with in 50 miles sp more than likely I'm headed to tunner first thing Monday morning. Basically need to tune for bigger injectors and for a o2

depending on what kind of power you're going to make with your turbo, that may not be enough injector.
