Default LQ4 L92 Torque build - cam/intake?

Planning a build based on an LQ4 and L92 heads. Going into a 3/4 ton tow pig with a 4L80E and 3.73s out back. Which intake manifold and cam for this build?

Not a good combo to start with for a "torque build". The dished pistons in the LQ4 and relatively large chambers in the L92 heads are going to result in a low compression ratio. It would be more suitable for a turbo/supercharged application than NA.

I'd suggest a "truck" or "torquer" style cam from one of the sponsors. They're typically smaller in duration to try to hold on to some low end power. Intake doesn't need to be fancy; stock LS3 is probably best. Your money would be better spent swapping in some flat top LS2 or LQ9 pistons before spending money on something like a FAST intake.
