What is the difference between LS1, LS2, LS3, etc?
Why would you choose one over another? (from a wrecking yard)

Default GEN IV Block/GEN-III Block

Hi AJ, A BIG DIFFERENCE !

I would ONLY buy a GEN-IV based engine (GEN-V=OK).

The main reason is that the EARLY LS-1 (GEN-III) had MANY problems AS STATED by GM.

TWO such problems are a HOLE between the MAIN/CAM that will crack AND uneven head bolts (long) that distort the end bores.
