In April of 2005 I bought my 2000 Red WS6 with 30k on the clock for $21,000.

Spring of 2001,started looking for a Z28,couldn't get a new B4C as Scott Settlemire told me all orders were accounted for and no more production.
I started looking on the used market and all were tagged about $18,000. I wanted a hardtop,6 speed,cloth,and base wheels/tires. Saw a 98Z at a swap meet car corral,t-tops-4A-upgrade rims/tires-leather for $14,000,test drove it and bought it. Not at all what I was originally seeking.

Oct 2001, watched my portfolio tank after Sept 11. Saw this strange coloured camaro at a dealer on my way to work. Kept going by after work when the dealer was closed. Did some search's about what a SS was about. Went in one afternoon and paid $38,000 for it. Hadn't even told the wife just brought it home. My two sons were floored.
Wife not so much.

15.5k back in 2013 with 15k miles. Was going back and forth between my car and a '01 black M6 SS hardtop with 11k miles for like 2 weeks, couldn't resist the CME and SOM though.

October 2003 I bought my M6 2002 SLP SS with 6800 miles (and a leaking oil pan) for $22,000 as a 21st birthday present to myself. It now has 26,000 miles(and a turbo) and still feels special every time I drive it. 13 years later ,I wouldn't sell it for $30,000.

Paid 20K in the fall of 2003 with 8K miles. Bought it from a guy that was buying his first home and realized he couldn't handle the auto loan & a mortgage too. He just about cried when I left in his car and did cry a week later when the house deal didn't happen.
