New TA! Just got my '98 6 speed T/A tuesday. Paid lil more than I wanted to but with no cosigner and NO credit kinda had to but its completely worth it. Hopefully I'll get some pictures up this weekend. Needs more power heh heh heh

Congrats on your purchase. You need to give a lil more info about your car color, interior, etc. Also pictures will be great. Be careful when you start modding your car it becomes very addictive. Enjoy the ls1 you'll love it.

Thanks. It has 75k mile on it,its black, 6 speed, completely stock, grey leather interior, dual six way power seats, t tops. Its a fantastic car. I have an unrivaled passion (compared to everything else in my life) for the LS1, got hooked on the 350 engine with my old truck, saw the potential of the LS1 and after driving it....game over nothing else would do it for me. The dealership tried selling me a 03 Mustang GT and i laughed at them...told them it HAD to be 98 or newer TA and a 6 speed, so they looked for an unmolested one for two months and finally got it for me. The manager at the dealership said well I can find you one today...but its probably been owned by some guy with a mullet thats dreamed of this car since he was little got a job at Boeing (now Spirit) and could finally afford one, drove it to **** and has tons of bondo and god knows what else hes jimmy rigged

The ls1 is a very addictive powerplant. I love my car and i love that motor just as much. I'm right there with you i would never own a mustang, (except a terminator.) Great sounding car and let the mods begin!
