Some people refuse to take a loss on their hobby, they think their spare time is worth $80/hr, and they also think that if they list high, they can negotiate down, but the rediculous price mostly turns off serious buyers who won't even bother negotiating. Listing a car for an outrageous price is one thing, actually finding someone to pay it is another. Just another symptom of Barrett-Jackson fever. I'm suprised nobody has tried to drop a hemi in an F-bod and call it a "hemi-recreation", should be worth at least $150,000.
