Have been to the 500 a number of times but not in the past 5 years. Always a good time but staying in Daytona for 4 or 5 days for the price of 2 weeks on an island with much warmer weather...the Carribean wins.

Plenty of seats still available and my favorite is the 3 sections between the end of pit road and turn 1. I have sat in the seats at the exit of turn 2 for a Busch race which is neat watching them come out of the banking but that is about all you see other than them going away from you. You have to watch the rest of the race on the jumbotron. Most of the action is going into turn 1 and coming out of 4.

Hope this helps....Go and have fun.

Coming out of turn 4 is my favorite. Bring binoculars so you can see what's going on on the backstretch, and tape it so you can watch it later...lots of things happen you won't be able to catch live. Get your tickets fast, might even be sold out by now. Enjoy...it's a blast!

Read the forum rules. This should be posted on SSU since it isn't LSX-related.
