You didn't list an option of "forever". That's my plan. Granted, sometimes plans change, but as of today I really don't see a reason to ever sell it. It's not really worth much to sell. If I want another car, I'll just add it to my collection. No need to sell this one.
The car is paid for, insurance is cheap (for me), and the thing sits in my garage most of the time so upkeep is very cheap. Considering I only drive it an average of 1,000-1,500 miles per year in perfect weather, it really shouldn't ever wear out or get beat up. Also, I've been stockpiling certain parts for the car that I figure I might need 20-30 years down the road when NOS is no longer available from GM. And if for some strange reason I don't have the car in 30 years, I'll be able to make a decent chunk of money selling all the parts I have to guys that are restoring '98-'02 Camaros at that time.

RPM WS6 mentioned it and so will I. "FOREVER". u need to add that. I have always wanted a Trans Am, ever since I rode in 1 when I was 15 yrs young. now I can afford the insurance and N/A mods, plus WS6's wont be the same number count as is now. by the time my 2 daughters inter high school (5 & 7 yrs young) cause I keep my WS6 in the garage and dont drive it in rain I get people asking me if it's a nrw 2006 Trans Am. the looks I get when I tell them it's a 2001 and GM stopped making them in 2002 is awsome. so I never plan on getting rid of it.

I'm planning on keeping mine forever. It may eventually get relegated to weekend toy status, but I plan on keeping it looking beautiful and running great for as long as I can. Eventually I may give it to my son or a grandchild when he gets old enough to start a family of his own.
