doubt the water is geting in the coil packs. when i drive mine in the rain i come back and wipe down the engine bay and there isnt much if any water by the coil packs. the hood and the heat the engine produces keep the water off the top off the motor especially after 20 minutes when the engine is at full temp. i bet your slp is sucking water.

your optispark is getting wet

do you have a short somewhere? that may be getting wet.

usually even with coil packs if you spray the engine down with water while running it wont affect spark or anything.

Doesn't this happen to cars if the O2's get too wet as well? Something to think about, but i'd bet it's the intake too.

Isn't this why the hood has two drainage holes right before the hood meets the intake?

I highly doubt that water can reach the O2's when they reach upwards of 160 degrees.

I drive my car in the rain all the time, nothing happens.

WIERD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe it doesn't like taking showers!

did it again tonight and it wasnt even raining, so my guess is its not the rain, so i came up with ano0ther theory, and i hope this is it, ok i have longtubes y-pipe all that jazz but i have an exhaust leak at the y pipe somewere because of scraping, so would an exhaust leak throw off the 02's that bad bc you can smell gas inside the damn car. im thinking its just throwing the 02 sensors off, but the ony thing that is making me wonder different is because the SES light is flashing now instead of just staying on, which if i remember correctly means something like enternal engine probs. i dont know but id like to get my car home, i got scared of messing up up worse last night and left it in a cinemas parking lot, its bothering me.... so what should i try, new 02's or get it tuned doing away with 02's completely, i dont know much about all that
