Default Who Carts Around The Kid In The Fbody????????

Im 25 and am getting married in June. We are talking about a little monster (kid) and am wondering who carts them around in a LS1. I dont even know if you can put a baby seat in the back for sure but im assuming you can. I was thinking about possibly selling the SS and getting something more practical but what is more paractical than being the best looking baby in a 02SS on 19in CCW T-10s.(Wheels yet to come hopefully early next year) I know it may be difficult to get them in and out but hay... give a little to get a little. mario

I have a 91 Nissan Sentra ser as a daily driver. By the time he or she grows up ill hopefully have a vette. Ill have to lock up the keys in the gun safe to stop them from driving it. Cant shoot your own kid if they steal your car. Look at the thoughts im having already.

Thats what i thought. I knew you probably could do it just with a little extra effort and sometimes clean up im sure.

I have had infant car seats all the way up to the largest they make. If you're kind of tall then you'll probably want to position it behind the passenger seat. Other then that it's definately doable.

There's definitely no shame in hauling your kid around in an f-body. You just can't line 'em up with anyone when you have them. My little girl loves to hear my car rev. She'll just sit back there and go vroom, vroom.

Foward facing seats fit perfect, well at least the one I have does.

i used to drive around with my gfs kid in the back of my nissan 240sx. with the seat halfway forward, we could still get him back there(3yr old) so there should benough room if she isnt too tall. i just bought a GTO and there is pleanty room back there for him.

My son already wants my car. Not too sure where it will be in 10 years or.....whether I want to give a 16 year old a fast car. I'd rather see it sold than smashed.

My son loves it, the exhaust vibration puts him to sleep every morning on the way to grandmas house.

Let's face it, the rear seats are not made for adult passengers, they are more like baby seats themselves. The only hassle is putting the carseat in and taking it out, he's 7 months old right. I'll be picking the next level chair for him soon, so I won't have to put the carseat in and out anymore.

My wife wasn't too comfortable at first putting our son in my car, but if you really think about it, the rear seats are the safest place of the LS1's to put them. The quarter panels are the strongest part of the car, they are metal and the seat actually hugs the carseats, no rolling around like in other vehicles with bench seats.
