my buddy has a 96 LT1 TA, with 191k on it, he blew the gasket, put in some sealer and still drives it. It runs smooth, and the valvetrain is amazingly quiet considering the abuse it has been dealt. My ws6 was only at 44k when i blew the head off and cracked the block, if i babied it and left it in stock form, no doubt it would have went for 150-200k with proper maintenance.

Checking in with a 160k '98 Z28 A4. Shifts smooth and sounds great. Getting a tune up tomorrow though.

I don't know the previous owner, much less the car's history/service records.

I've got a 99 Trans Am with 262,600. Lol still running 42lbs pressure with no crazy issues thank god. Motor getting bored .10 over soon and fresh rebuild.

boy this is an old thread , I am sure theres thread like this on here with well over 300k.

My highest mile ls1 f body is my 2000 M6 bolt on car. still on original unopened engine/m6 and 10 bolt , clutch has been replaced once .

I watched previous owner run 11.9's with it 4 or 5 months before I bought it back when it had 215k on it . Car still runs the same as it did 6 years ago when I bought it , its currently at 255,000 miles and counting but I will put it up as soon as they salt the roads
