what is more important to you fellow tech members, looking good or going fast and haulin ***??? do you prefer image or power???

Personally i would much rather have a beat up lookin car that would beat the **** out of anything, then a car that looks fast but gets stomped by shitty car.

Depends on the goals of the car.

Is it track/race only? Then looks don't really matter, make it all about the power and waste no money on appearance.

Is it mostly for street cruising? Then it needs to be a nice blend of power and looks respective to the goals of the car, IMO.

I don't really care to drive a flashy car. I'd be driving an old beat up El Camino with a 454 in it if I had the ability/time to turn a wrench. With flashy sports cars you get annoyed by everybody, you're afraid to park it anywhere, you feel the need to keep it clean, etc.

My car is a dd so I want it to look good as well as hold its own. If it was a straight up track car I would't care as much about the looks.

If I gotta choose one, I'd mod for speed. I like the way my car looks anyway. I'd rather have a clean 11 second car than a 14 second show car.

Power. If I had the time and money I'd buy an old rusty muscle car and make it run 10's with out touching the body, Kinda like that nova that was on ebay and in a few mags a little while ago that had 1000+hp and looked like a turd, even had the dog dish center caps.
