Default Sell the LS1 for a BMW M3?

I know this board is baised, but I found a insane deal of a E36 M3! Like stupied stupied cheap that a older guy owns. So its got some mods, and its clean!

Ive got some sellers for my car to buy it, and it would make a nice daily driver in the summer time.....

Not really looking to go 10s with the thing, but just have fun in the twists and go low 13s...I dont have time for the track, or setting up races this year...

FYI my gutted LS1 put two cars on a stalled, mild cammed, LS1 car with a drag radial, and me on a slipping stock clutch and all seasons!

Sell it to somebody who appreciates it.

I never understand posts like this, you are going to do whatever you want anyway. I guess I don't care to hear about everybody who gets good deals on random cars and want to dump their ls1.

FWIW M3 are nice cars, here is your new home: http://www.m3forum.com/

that's a hard decision. But bmw's are really unreliable. My best friends dad had a black m3 was ****** amazing but he didnt like the transmission and he had to bring it to the shop a lot. Ended up getting a honda s2000 and that thing is tight(dont worry only rice that i actually like and the 350z)

It's your call dude.....I love M3's but you have to admit your LS1 is the best bang for the buck performance wise. Also your current ride is a hell of a lot cheaper to fix if something goes south....definitly can't say the same about the M3.

Best of luck in whatever you decide.

When I had my car cammed with a MTI G1 I walked an M3 so bad from a 70mph roll. I know the boat your in though. I like them very much as well, but I cannot give up an LSX vehicle if Im not getting in another one or just keeping the one I have. I feel your pain, Im currently back in school again, because the cars I like are getting more and more expensive and Im the type of person that gets what I want, but of course I pay for it myself. I'm aiming for a M6 in a couple of years or the M3 thats coming out. I do got say, watch out for BMW's parts and labor it is very expensive. I do understand how pimp M3's are, I love the M-series beemers.

What exactly is considered "stupid stupid cheap" for an e46 M3?
Whats the year/mileage?
Coupe or convertible?
Maybe you could drive it for a year, sell it and buy another LS1.

5,000 dollers a wealthy man owns it....

Guys the car has a header back exhaust system, the header alone is 1k

Also has dinan chip, and carbon fiber cold air intake...

Drove it today, felt good its a peppy" car

But nothing compared to my 2,900 pound geared, full bolt on LS1 but its def hella lot more livable and handles ON RAILS!

Im going to pick it up wish me luck!
