Default Title weight

I was looking through a thread about weight reduction

http://www.fastls1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14993

and I have to ask. Is the weight on the title accurate? How accurate? Mine shows 3200 LB. I have an 02 T/A with T-tops T56 and power everything. I keep hearing how this can't be true but I have nowhere to test it for sure. BTW I am in Queens/Nassau, let me know where I can weigh my car.
Thanks.

If the DOT has a scale near you, go there and ask them if you can weigh it. Most of them are pretty nice, and will do it for free.

I found and used a scale ( thanks to 1baddls1 on fastls1.com ) and I clocked in at exactly 3500. I didn't toss any of the junk out of my car because it was a last minute decision. I guess 3400 is right on.
