should be but since your not use to a track dont be sad if your first run is a lot higher than it should be. practice is key

why not get a 12 bolt

I'd say you will be able to hit 12's or close to it with a good launch. You have a couple of more mods than me and I hit 13.3 with all the mods in my sig minus the ported TB. I've got 2.73's also. As for what gear to start in I just leave it in D. No reason to try and shift it yourself as the computer will be faster than you, and its not all that good for the tranny.

Some sticky tires might get ya in the 12s.You gotta hook.If your on a budget get a used converter and you will be in the 12s for sure.

once you get the gears you should def. be in the 12's but if your not used to driving at the track I wouldnt get upset if you dont hit a 12. The reason why autos usually do good is b/c they can pull really good 60 ft times. Im in the same boat sorta, I KNOW my car has 12's in it, I just cant get off the line good enough to get there. Once I was .01 seconds away But good luck

a nice converter would do the trick. i put a converter in the car and without stalling up at all cuz my brakes sucked, i dropped 4 to 5 tenths off.

well i am gonna have the gears and ontop of that im getting Black ZR1s with 315s out back, and im gonna run Nitto 555s to get good traction at the track and street. Then once i get the money for a Converter thats next on the list, either Edge or Yank will be goin in my car, It will be a 4k stall since im gonna run a MS4 cam in the near future.

Plus im tired of my EVO friends runnin there mouths i know they will get out of the hole better than me but hopefully with the gears it will be alot closer than it has been. my one friend has a 03 evo and runnin 26 pounds of boost along with port work and alot of bolt ons, and he is runnin 12.8s with a 1.8 60ft time and he put 2 cars on me on the highway my car wouldnt shift into third so had to let off then got back on it again when it did shift (tuning problem), and my other friend with a 05 EVO is running 13.0 flat with some mods and boost turned up.

I ran 12.90s consistantly with my A4 2.73 Z28...Mods were Pacesetter longtubes with their ORY,Dynomax bullet,SLP lid, HPtuners tune...Launching off idle I got 2.0 60ft everytime.

And that's on street tires also.

With sticky tires you will be slower. I put M/T drag radials on my car and with the 2.73 gears just hooked too good! I could only get a 13.0 on the drag radials.

The Z28 I had was the easiest car I've ever raced... I'd do a little burnout, turn traction control off, put the car in D, stage, and just floor it off idle. It didn't spin much if any spin at all, especially with the 2.73 gears.. 2.0 60ft everytime.

Nothing special..and I got 12.90s everytime with those few mods.
