slp camaro ss info hey guys i own a 2000 camaro ss. i was wondering if anyone could clarify some info for me. are all these cars built by slp? ive noticed some are numberd and some are not. some cars seem to have a slp sticker. do all slp cars have the same options.

Every Camaro SS was built by SLP. Look inside your driver side door. In the options you will see WU8 which is the code for all SS's. Also you may find a SLP engineering sticker on your door. My 01 SS has this but my friends 00 Doesn't. Every SLP Camaro SS has a build # that you can still get from SLP

The only SLP Camaro SS options that are the same on every car is
17" wheels/tires
Composite hood
raised spoiler
Bigger swaybars
SLP offered many different extra cost options which could have been ordered on the car by the dealer or the customer
Dual Dual exhaust $700.00
Chrome 17" wheels
Center mounted exhaust
SLP SS grill
Dash plaque
etc.

Y2Y are the SLP extra cost options aside the cost of the SS package itself listed above
Such as
Dual Dual exhaust
Dash plaque
Chrome plated SS style or 10 spoke wheels
etc
If your car has one or more of these extra options you will find y2y on the driver side door in the code sticker

It is really called a SLP powerflo exhaust but nick named the dual dual because of the tips. Its a really great exhaust system. It was a like a $500-$700 option when ordered on a SS. I think before it got discontinued it was like $700 from SLP

oh, thanks for the info. my car has the code it came with the chrome ss wheels, but it has ss floormats now and im waiting for the dashplaque to be delivered. if i think of any more questions i'll shoot you a pm.
